Southwest Iraq’s Hilla Hospital receives 30 wounded people from Karbala blasts

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Southwest Iraq‘s General Hospital in Hilla city has received 30 people, injured by two explosions in southwestern Iraq‘s holy city of Karbala, including 30 serious cases, among them women, children and elderly people, a Hospital’s medical source said on Monday. The medical source told IraqiNews.com news agency that “loudspeakers in mosques and police cars have been appealing to Hilla citizens to report to the said Hospital, in order to donate blood for the victims of the two Karbala explosions.” The Shiite holy city of Karbala had witnessed two booby-trapped car blasts early on Monday, killing 8 people and wounding 88 others, most of the visitors to the holy city, to commemorate the 40th Day of the Martyrdom Day of Imam Hussein Bin-Ali in the 60th Muslim Hijri calender, at the dawn of Islam.
