2 wanted persons detained north of Hilla

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Two wanted men were arrested on Friday in north of Hilla, while a bomb exploded targeting a U.S. convoy on the highway linking Babel with Baghdad, a police source said. “Two wanted men were arrested by a joint force of police and army personnel in accordance with Article IV Terrorism Law in Shaka 20 region in al-Askandariya district, north of Hilla,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The joint forces seized guns with silencers and personal weapons,” he added. “An explosive charge went off targeting a U.S. convoy on the highway between Baghdad and Babel, north of Hilla,” he said.
