Ten policemen, victims of Babel blast

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: At least 10 policemen have been victims of a booby-trapped car blast in Shomaly township of west Iraq ’s Babel Province on Wednesday, a Babel police source reported.   “At least 10 policemen have been among the victims of the Shomaly restaurant explosion early Wednesday, while on their way to enjoy their days-off,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   A Babel local administration source told IraqiNews.com early in the day that 13 persons were killed and 43 others injured in the restaurant blast in Shomaly township.   The city of Hilla , the center of Babel Province , is 100 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)
