Immigration Minister confers on means of cooperation with Turkish Trade Attache

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq‘s Minister of Immigration & Immigrants, Dindar Najman Shaifiq al-Dosky, has conferred in his office on Thursday with the Turkish Trade Attache in Baghdad, Matin Kurkin, means for joint cooperation between Iraq and Turkey, according to a statement of the Minister’s office.. “Minister Dosky had expressed his Ministry’s keenness to achieve joint cooperation between the two countries, due to their cultural  closeness, as well as the major role expressed by the Turkish government recently towards the Iraqi community in Turkey, especially the release of Iraqi detainees there,” the statement stressed. “There is a large Iraqi community in Turkey, and we are actively striving to find suitable solutions for their problems, through forming special committees to visit and encourage them to return home,” he pointed out. Kurkin, on his part, had “reaffirmed the Turkish government’s firmness to participate in Iraq‘s reconstruction process, through signing of trade contracts between both countries, especially in the fields of health, housing and education.” MA (A) / SKH/SR 4
