IED explodes near U.S. convoy in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A U.S. convoy was attacked on Tuesday by an improvised explosive device in northern Baghdad, according to a security source. “The bomb exploded today targeting a convoy of the U.S. army in Adan square in al-Khadimiya region, northern Baghdad,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “There was no immediate word on damage,” he added. “Security forces sealed off the roads leading to the scene as a precautionary measure,” he said.
