URGENT / Eight Ministers voted on in Parliament – Kurdish MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament has voted in its session today (Sunday) on eight cabinet ministers, the Legislature from the Kurdistan Alliance, Shilear Aziz Ahmed said. “The Parliament has voted today on eight  ministers: Amer Hassan al-Khuza’e for the Ministry of National Reconciliation, Kheirullah Hassan Babakr Mohammed for the Trade Ministry, Abed Sahib Qahraman for Ministry of State, Jamal al-Battikh for a Ministry of State, Raad Shallal al-Any for the Ministry of Electricity and Ibtihal al-Zeidy for the Ministry of State for Woman Affairs, Adel Muhoudar for the Ministry of Municapalities and Bashir Hassoun for the Ministry of Civil Society” Ahmed told IraqiNews.com news agency. Regarding the candidates for the Vice-Presidents’ poss, she said, “Voting will take place today (Sunday) on three candidates for the Vice-Presidents’ posts, who are Adel Abdul-Mahdi, Tareq al-Hashimy and Khudhier al-Khuza’e.” The Parliament has been waiting for weeks to end the selection of the Vice-Presidents and the vacant service and security cabinet posts, in order to allow the government carry out its duties in the right course and to allow the Parliament play its role in observing and following-up the activity of those ministries.
