Barzani asserts implementation of political agreement – al-Iraqiya

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Monday underlined the implementation of the political agreement between leaders of all blocs, a member of the al-Iraqiya list said. “A number of political blocs, which form the al-Iraqiya List, will meet on Monday evening in Rafia al-Issawi’s house to be updated with the outcome of Barzani’s meeting with Iyad Allawi in Arbil on Sunday,” Zuheir al-Aaraji told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Barzani underlined during his meeting the implementation of what had been agreed upon with al-Maliki and Allawi,” he added. Barzani had received on Sunday (Feb. 13) Iyad Allawi at Salah al-Din resort in Arbil, with whom he discussed the latest political developments in the country.
