Nine persons injured in 4 IED blasts in Baghdad:

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: At least 9 persons have been injured in 4 IED (improvised explosive devices) blasts in different parts of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Monday, a security source said.   “An IED blew off in east Baghdad‘s Kamaliya district against a mobile oil-products tank early on Monday, wounding two persons, who were driven to a hospital for treatment,” he said, adding that “another IED blew off close to central Baghdad‘s Alwiya Telephone Exchange Office, aimed at an alcohol drinks shop, wounding two persons, who were also driven to a nearby hospital for treatment.”   He said that a third IED blew off in central Baghdad‘s Mohammed al-Qassim Highway, wounding three persons, who were taken to hospital,” pointing out that a fourth IED blew off in southwest Baghdad‘s Amiriya District late Sunday night, against a vehicle belonging to the office Baghdad Mayor, wounding two persons, who were also taken to hospital for treatment.   SKH (TP)/SR 644
