U.S. army denies missile attack on airbase in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The U.S. army denied on Wednesday any attack on the al-Talil airbase in Thi-Qar last week, according to the media spokesperson of the army. “I dismiss all news that spoke about a missile attack on al-Talil airbase, the main headquarters of the U.S. forces in Thi-Qar, last March 16,” Major Harold told IraqiNews.com news agency. An armed group, Hizbollah brigades, had said last Tuesday in a statement that it launched several attacks in separate areas in Iraq in retaliation of the attacks against Bahraini people, including an attack on al-Talil airbase by 10 missiles.
