Nine civilians injured in IED blast, west of Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com – At least nine civilians have been injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast west of Baghdad on Sunday, a security source said.   “An IED, planted on the roadside in west Baghdad ’s Iskan district, blew off on Sunday afternoon, wounding 9 civilians and causing damage to a number of shops and vehicles, close to the venue of the blast,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   PT / SKH   817
