Iraqi Journalists Syndicate confers allocation of patches of lands for journalists
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate has discussed with the Ministry of Municipalities & Housing means for accelerating the allocation of patches of lands for journalists in Baghdad and other provinces, according to its statement on Sunday. “The Minister of Municipalities & Housing, Adel Muhoder, has conferred with the Chairman of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayad al-Lamy and a number of Syndicate members, the allocation of patches of land in good areas for journalists, in response to an approval by the Council of Ministers,” the statement noted. The statement noted that the minister had expressed his Ministry’s readiness to “allocate patches of land in the centers of Iraqi provinces for the Syndicate’s branches, after the completion of the technical and administrative measures.” The Chairman of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the statement pointed out, had “highly appreciated the response of the Ministry of Municipalities & Housing to support the journalistic family and its appreciation of the activity of the Iraqi journalists and their great sacrifices to serve Iraq’s new march.
