BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Representative of Shiite leader Ali Sistani described the voting on the vice-presidency post as “a surprise to the people.” In today’s Friday prayer sermon, Abdul Mehdi Al-Karbala‘i added that “the voting for the three post in one basket was a surprise, because they are honorary ones, and not important.” He criticized the delay of reducing the salaries of high ranking posts, which “means indifference for the demands of the people, that will result in grave consequences if neglected”.
