Iraqi basketball team beats Kuwaiti team in Arab Clubs Championship

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad ’s Karkh Basketball Team has beaten the Kuwaiti al-Sahil team in the Arab Clubs Championship in Abu-Dhabi on Friday, a Kharkh Basketball Team spokesman said.   “Our Team has scored its 3 rd game in the Arab Clubs Championship in UAE’s Abu-Dhabi city, winning 12 points over the Kuwaiti al-Sahil Team on Friday, with an 97-85 points result,” he told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said Al-Kharkh Basketball Team, with the above result, had reached the quarter-final in the Championsiip.   The Iraqi Team had won against UAE’s Beni-Yas with 80-79, Omani Saddab – 90-78, whilst it had lost gainst the Jordanian Scientific Practices Team – 79-93.   SKH (PT) 767
