Monthly endowment for Sports Journalism Federation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Chairman of the Sports Journalism Federation announced that the Iraqi Union of Journalists expressed keenness to support the federation with a monthly endowment.  “The meeting held coincides with the inclinations of the Union to engage the federation in dialogue to minimize the obstacles currently facing it,” Khalid Jassim told IraqiNews.com.  He added that the Union will grant a monthly endowment, in addition to providing it with a premises.  During the meeting, Head of the Iraqi Union of Journalists Mu’ayad Al-Lami made a number of remarks to enhance the sports journalism movement.  Lami announced that the Union will make a development course for 30 sports journalists to be selected by the Federation in Cairo, Egypt, in the coming short time.
