Tareq Aziz gets life sentence for killing Kurds

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Higher Criminal Court on Tuesday sentenced Iraq’s former deputy premier, Tareq Aziz, to life in prison in Barzanis’ Anfal case. “Former interior minister Saadon Shaker was sentenced to death, while former officer in the republic guard, Sufian Hameed, will spend his life behind bars,” according to al-Iraqiya channel.   SH (TP)     714
