Thousands of scientific books uploaded to Thi Qar University website

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Thi Qar University uploaded thousands of scientific books onto its Web site, the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs announced today.  “The specializations of the books range from medical, engineering, law, politics, history, geography, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and linguistics,” Abbas Hussein Al-Jabiri added in the university’s statement, a copy of which was received by IraqiNews.com.  “The students, researchers, and academic personnel can copy these pdf files,” he added.  “The university’s plan is to upload more than 2,000 books on its electronic site,” Jabiri noted.  RM (TP)/SR 233
