Barazani on troubleshooting visit to Baghdad – Talabani

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barazani is leading a delegation on a visit to Baghdad to discuss means to solve problems. “Talabani and Barazani discussed laying frameworks for holding meetings with the political blocs,” according to a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday. The statement quoted the autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan president as saying that there are “several issues for whom a certain program is being laid in order to deal with them with the different political blocs and consider proper solutions for them”. Fouad Hussein, the region’s presidential cabinet chief, said Barazani had arrived in Baghdad at the head of a delegation to tackle a host of pending issues between the region and the central government.
