White Iraqiyah calls to abandon tense speeches

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: White Iraqiyah political bloc called on Iraqi politicians “to abandon tense speeches.”   It described the latest escalation of words as “dangerous.”   In a statement, as received by IraqiNews.com, White Iraqiyah called on political entities “to calm down”, otherwise “there will be dangerous repercussions in the Iraqi public opinion.”   Head of Iraqiyah bloc Ayad Allawi made a severe attack on Dawa party leader Premier Nouri al-Maliki charging him with “lies, hypocrisy and misleading” statements, pointing out that he “depended on foreign and Iranian support to become prime minister.”   It warned that some misinterpretations are abound for the Taji wedding massacre, and therefore it is “our national duty to pacify all political entities and contain the crisis before its expansion.”   The families of the Taji wedding massacre of 2006 are demanding public punishment for the killers.   The toll from the massacre reached 70 persons, including women and 15 children.
