Demand to execute killers of Taji wedding massacre – Justice Minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Justice Minister announced today that he will ask the cabinet to execute the perpetrators of the Taji wedding massacre at the same site of the crime.   Iraqiyah TV Channel reported the news.   Security forces arrested a group of gunmen who confessed to the crime of killing 70 civilians in a wedding parade in 2006, most of whom were women and children.   Thousands of Iraqis demonstrated last Friday demanding the death sentence for the criminals in the same site of the massacre.  RM (TP)/SR 493
