Electronic applications for university admission start next year – Ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Ministry of Higher Education announced today that the electronic application for central admission will go live starting from the next academic year, 2011-2012.   The paper application will not longer be used, the General Inspector of the Ministry Nasir  Hussein al-Jubouri stated today.   In a statement issued by the Ministry, as received by IraqiNews.com, he added that “such applications will minimize paper usage and printing expenditures.”   The Director General of Iraqi Computer and Information Authority, Imad al-Husseini, declared that “this electronic statement will minimize mistakes, and facilitate easy excess to the ministry’s network from students’ geographical sites.”   Special programs shall be created to teach the students how to fill out the application,” he added.
