 Iraqi, Estonian PMs discuss cooperation in artificial intelligence

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, discussed on Saturday with the Estonian Prime Minister, Kaja Kallas, cooperation in information technology and artificial intelligence.

The two prime ministers, accompanied by officials from both sides, met in the German city of Munich on the sidelines of their participation in the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024, Shafaq News reported.

The meeting addressed strategies to promote bilateral relations between the two countries in different areas, mainly cooperation in the fields of e-government, where Estonia has advanced experience, in addition to information technology and artificial intelligence and their application in the development of the agricultural sector.

The two sides agreed to send an Iraqi technical delegation to Estonia to discuss this important matter and its applicable mechanisms.

The two parties agreed to create a bilateral committee to study ways to improve mutual cooperation between Iraq and Estonia.

The meeting also addressed the presence of the international coalition in Iraq, in which Estonia participates, and the ongoing talks with the United States to withdraw international forces from the country following the growing capabilities of the Iraqi security forces.
