 Iraq’s oil exports to the US rose to 43,000 bpd last week

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States rose last week to 43,000 barrels per day after they stopped the week before.

The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine major countries reached 5.42 million barrels per day, a decline of 34,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, where oil imports reached 5.45 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.

The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of crude oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 3.99 million barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia with an average of 390,000 barrels per day.

The United States imported an average of 294,000 barrels per day from Mexico and 201,000 barrels per day from Ecuador.

The US imported 150,000 barrels per day from Colombia in the past week, 148,000 barrels per day from Brazil, 137,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, and 63,000 barrels per day from Libya.

According to the EIA, the United States did not import crude oil from Russia in the past week.
