Intention to withdraw confidence from election commission – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: State of Law MP  Fou’ad al-Douriki disclosed today that his coalition has the intention to withdraw the confidence from the independent election commission, pointing out that the questioning proved administrative and financial corruption in the work of the commission.  Douriki told IraqiNews.com that “the coalition will endeavor to withdraw the confidence because the debates and questioning proved grave breaches on public funds”.  “We will not accept a commission that uses the public funds, granting its members extra privileges, and will try to find other personalities if the parliament issued its resolution on the matter,” he added.
