General Archaeology Commission receives 37 antiques

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi citizen has handed over 37 archaeological antiques, including ancient pottery jars, cups and plates, according to a statement from an authorized source of the Antiquities and Heritage Commission on Wednesday.   “The antiques Authority & Heritage has received 37 pieces of different antiques, including jars, cups, plates, and pottery, along with pieces of ancient bones,” Fawzi Abdullah Karim told IraqiNews.com news agency.   “The Commission received the relics of citizen Fawzi Abdullah Karim, including parts of ancient pottery, indicating that the Authority has expressed gratitude to the position of the noble citizen,” he said.   SKH (TP)/SR 509
