Soldier killed west of Mosul

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier was killed in clashes today west of Mosul , security   sources said.   The source, told IraqiNews.com, that the soldier was killed following clashes between an Iraqi unit and armed group west of the city.   “The attack took place when the military patrol was passing through the area, which led to the clashes”, the source added.   No other details were given on the attacking group.   Mosul city, center of Ninawah province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad .   RM (TP) 341
