Iraqi-Jordanian investment cooperation discussed

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq ’s Planning & Development Cooperation Minister, Ali al-Shukri, has discussed bilateral relations and means for their development, with his Jordanian counterpart, Jaafar Ihsan, on Tuesday, according to the Jordanian News Agency.   “Both Ministers have discussed the increase of the size of trade and investment cooperation between both countries, especially in leading infrastructure projects, such as electricity, gas and railways,” the Agency reported.   It added that both sides have agreed to “work together for the implementation of joint cooperation programs for the exchange of expertise and development of relations, confirming on joint investment opportunities, especially by the Jordanian private sector, to participate in Iraq ’s reconstruction projects.”   SKH (ST) 502
