Iran’s Vice-President in Baghdad on official visit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iranian Vice-President, Mohammed Reza Rahimy, has arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday, on an official visit, Iraq ’s Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary, Labid Abbawi, reported.   “ Iran ’s Vice-President, Mohammed Reza Rahimy, has arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday morning, leading a high-level delegation, on an official visit,” Abbawi said, giving no further details.   The semi-official al-Iraqiya TV Channel had screened on Wednesday morning the official reception of Rahimi in Baghdad , who was received by Iraq ’s Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki and a number of high-level Iraqi officials.   The visiting Iranian Vice-President and the Iraqi Prime Minister are scheduled to hold a joint news conference on the occasion of Rahimy’s visit.   SKH (ST) 437
