Iraq, Iran, sign MoUs for cultural, health, Technological cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: High-ranking Iraqi officials have signed a number of Memos of Understanding (MoUs) with Iran in Baghdad on Wednesday, with the presence of Iraq’s Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki and visiting Iranian 1st Vice-President, Mohammed Reza Rahimi, the semi-official al-Iraqiya TV Channel reported.   It said that Iraq’s Minister of State and the government’s Spokesman, Ali al-Dabbagh, had signed an MoU for Cultural Cooperation & Understanding, followed with the signing by the Minister of Sciences & Technology, Abdul-Karim al-Samarrae, of two MoUs for Cooperation in the Field of Post, Communications and Technology.   The TV Channel added that Iraq’s Health Ministry Undersecretary, Issam Namiq, had signed two MoUs in the field of Medical Treatment Cooperation in the field of Medicines.   SKH (TS)/SR 485
