Several citizens poisoned by chlorine gas in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A number of citizens have been poisoned by chlorine gas that was leaked from a water-purification station east of Baghdad on Friday night, a Baghdad police source reported on Saturday.   “Chlorine gas, leaked from a water-purification station in east Baghdad ’s Zayouna district on Friday night, had poisoned a number of citizens,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that Civil Defense forces have cordoned the area of the station, whilst ambulance cars drove the poisoned citizens to hospitals for treatment.   SKH (PT)
