Iraqi, Kuwait premiers discuss bilateral relations, telephone call

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq ’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki received a telephone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Nassir Al-Sabah, according to cabinet statement on Monday.   The statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com, reported that both sides discussed bilateral relations and the question of Mobarak port.   Both Prime Ministers discussed the visit of the expected Iraqi delegation to Kuwait to discuss the pertaining question of the port.   Sheikh Al-Sabah welcomed the visit of the Iraqi delegation and the importance of cooperation to solve all pending questions, the statement added.   Kuwait announced earlier that it would start building Mobarak port, after one year of Iraqi declaration to build its Greater Fao Terminal.   RM (TP) 2907
