Iraqi film on Egyptian Revolution premiers in Baghdad film festival

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi film, directed by 10 Iraqi film directors about the Egyptian Revolution is to be shown, for the first time in the Arab world, during the Baghdad International Festival. The film was last shown during the Cannes Film Festival, the Director of the Iraqi Cinematography Festival, Taher Alwan, reported on Saturday.   About 20 Iraqi male and female artists, six scenario writers, 8 photography directors, 8 sound engineers and other artists, went down to the Egyptian streets, shooting the developments of the last Egyptian Revolution.   The film includes 10 episodes that covered several scenes, unseen by many people during the Egyptian Revolution.   The number of states that had decided to attend the Baghdad International Cinematography Festival, scheduled to convene in Baghdad October 3-10, shall exceed 30 states. 140 films are scheduled to be shown, a large number of which shall be making their premier in the history of the Arab Homeland.   SKH (TI)/SR 243
