Federal budget under discussion next month

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Parliamentary legal committee MP said that the 2012 federal budget will be presented to the Parliament in the middle of next month for discussion.   MP Ahmed Habeeb told IraqiNews.com that no problems have arisen, and it will be presented to parliament.   He added that a sum of money was allocated for the construction of the Greater Fao Port.   The Iraqi Cabinet began discussing 2012 budget, whereby 131 trillion Iraqi dinars shall be allocated for the coming year as a federal budget, showing an increase of 36 percent, according to a statement by the government spokesman’s office.
