Maliki meets EU Parliament member Nicholson

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki welcomed the participation of British and European companies in Iraq, statement said here today.   The statement, as was received by IraqiNews.com, said Maliki received EU Parliament member Baroness Emma Nicholson, with the attendance of the British ambassador to Baghdad, and  reiterated the invitation to European countries to participate in Iraqi reconstruction.   Baroness Nicholson said she has many projects that will serve the Iraqi women, as well as other social sectors, which need the assistance of the Iraqi government, the statement added.   She confirmed the desire of British and European companies to participate in the investment process in Iraq.
