Direct flights between Najaf and Dammam to begin in June

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – In a move set to bolster diplomatic and economic relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, travelers can book direct flights between Najaf and Dammam.
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation’s announcement of this new route reflects the expanding relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, stressing cooperation and connectivity.
Commencing operations on June 1, 2024, the introduction of direct flights between Dammam, situated in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, and Najaf, a historic city in Iraq, marks a significant milestone in regional transportation infrastructure.
These flights, which would add to current routes to Baghdad and Erbil, will contribute to strengthen the extensive network of air travel alternatives between Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
