Kuwait atrocities will not stop unless UN 833 resolution abrogated – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: White Iraqiya bloc MP said that Kuwaiti “atrocities” against Iraqi fishermen will not stop unless Iraq rejects UN resolution 833, calling the government to adopt stern measures to terminate them.   MP Alia Nisaif said in a statement today, copy received by IraqiNews.com, that “Kuwaiti naval force action inside Iraqi territorial waters is an avowed violation to international accords and Iraqi sovereignty”.   “Kuwaiti authorities bear full responsibility for the safety of Iraqi fishermen, and they should apologize to the Iraqi people and government”, the statement confirmed.   She added that ” it seems Kuwait has no intention build good neighborly relation with Iraq, so these atrocities will not stop unless Iraq rejects UN 833 resolution on the demarcation of border lines between the two countries, which the ex-regime was obliged to accept as a war looser”.   Iraqi Fao authorities announced the arrest of fishermen, which was not the first one.   “Abrogating UN 833 resolution and the demarcation of land and maritime borders under UN supervision, away from big countries deals with Kuwait, will cut off all continued atrocities against Iraq“.   RM (TI) 344
