Salaries stolen from cops in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen stole the salaries for a police station from two policemen who were carrying the salaries,  the media office of Basra‘s police department said today.  The media office informed IraqiNews.com that the robbers stole 28 million Iraqi dinars.   On the other hand, the office added that many raids were conducted in the province that led to the arrest of 21 wanted persons, including those connected with terrorist acts, 106 motorcycles and  11 vehicles without proper documents.  Basra lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad.   RM (TP)/SR 586
