US forces accused for security instability in Basra – MP

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Al-Ahrar bloc MP Uday Awad accused the U.S. forces for the explosion which occurred in the center of town to justify the continuation of its presence in the country. “The US forces was behind the explosion directed against the emergency forces’ headquarter and the police forces on Monday,” Awad told IraqiNews.com. “The occupation is responsible for the weakness of the security in Iraq, in an attempt to strengthen their presence in the country, contrary to the security agreement between Iraq and the U.S.” Three cops  and one civilian were killed while 29 were wounded in a suicide attack last Monday in the center of Basra. He called to review the security situation, demanding the political leaders to discard difference and work toward Iraqi public interests. 793
