Two foreign protection elements injured in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Two elements of the foreign protection groups in southern Iraq ’s Basra city have been seriously injured in an explosive charge blast against a security motorcade, carrying the British flag, a Basra Operations Chamber reported on Sunday.   “A security motorcade, carrying the British flag, had been attacked by an explosive charge on the main highway passing through Basra ’s al-Zubeir township, 20 km to the west of Basra , seriously wounding 2 of the motorcade’s protection elements,” the security source said.   Basra , the center of the Province carrying the same name, is 590 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (PT)
