32 policewomen graduate in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The commander of the border forces in the Fourth Zone announced today the graduation of 32 policewomen after they completed a training course which lasted for one month.  Staff General Ali Jassim said in the graduation ceremony that the policewomen took courses in using arms, verifying documents, and preparing ambushes.  The policewomen will work in the police stations and other governmental departments as inspectors for anti-terrorism tasks.  This course was the first of its kind. A second course is scheduled to take place with the same itinerary and number of students.  Basra lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad. RM (TS)/SR 616
