Scientific forum on Kuwaiti Mobarak port in Basra University

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra University held a scientific forum on Kuwaiti Mobarak terminal and its effects on Iraqi maritime and naval operations.   The first lecture concentrated on the effects on Iraqi maritime and naval operations, while the second tackled the strategies to develop coastal areas.   In a statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com that Center of Seas Sciences held the forum, which was in cooperation with Basra province and some NGOs.   The two lectures stressed the importance of the area and its economies for the southern people, as well as diversification of sea wealth in the region.  RM (TS)/SR 266
