Civilian injured in IED blast, 7 men arrested in Diala

  DIALA / IraqiNews.com – An Iraqi civilian has been injured in an improvised explosive devise (IED) blast, stuck to his truck in Diala Province , where 7 wanted men were detained, a Police Commander said on Saturday.   “A civilian has been injured in an explosion of an IED, stuck to a truck, loaded with gas tubes, that blew off in Baaquba, the center of Diala Province on Saturday,” Lt. Brigadier Jassim al-Rube’i told IraqiNews.com news agency.   In another incident, 7 wanted men, according to Article 4-Terrorism, were arrested in a house in Baladruz township, 45 kms to the west of Baaquba, along with the confiscation of an ammunition dump, hidden by one of the detained persons, he said.   Baaquba, the center of Diala Province , is 57 kms to the northeast of Baghdad .   ST / SKH   775
