Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, hailed the involvement of British businesses in different areas, including energy, industry, agriculture, and other important sectors.

Al-Sudani’s remarks took place during his meeting on Tuesday with the British Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The meeting addressed strategies to strengthen Iraq-UK bilateral ties in order to promote their shared interests and mutual benefits.

The Iraqi Prime Minister confirmed that Iraq has many investment opportunities offered to international companies.

Al-Sudani emphasized the significance of improving regional stability, pointing out that the Israeli aggression toward Gaza is causing security to become unstable and the conflict to escalate.

Iraq’s Prime Minister also called on international institutions to assume their responsibilities in stopping the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
