Diala’s public services deteriorated, MP says

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: A legislature from al-Iraqiya Coalition, led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, has described the services in northeast Iraq’s Diala Province as “deteriorated,” charging that the majority of public service offices in the province as corrupt.   “The majority of Diala areas are suffering from deteriorated conditions in public services, and the   past years did not witness any high-level public services, and all its townships lack presence of good hotels to receive visitors,” Mohammed Othman al-Khalidy told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Khalidy said that the majority of the public service offices in the province suffer from administrative and financial corruption, as huge state budget allocations had been wasted, thing that had a passive impact on public services.   Baaquba, the center of Diala Province , is 57 kms to the northeast of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)
