Memos signed with 2 international companies in Diwaniya

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The Diwaniya council signed on Thursday memorandums of understanding with two international companies to implement a number of projects in the province, a media advisor of the council said. “Chairman of the council Jubeir al-Juburi signed on Thursday memorandums of understanding with a representative of a Korean company to set up huge oil-fueled generators,” Muayad al-Ansari told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A delegation from the company will arrive in Diwaniya within a week to sign the final contracts,” he added. “The agreement coincides with the visit of prime minister to the Korean capital,” he said. “Al-Juburi signed also another memo with a Lebanese company to rehabilitate roads and enlighten the streets.” Diwaniya is located 180 km south of Baghdad.
