VP asserts necessity of facilitating pilgrims

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi stressed on Thursday the importance of providing pilgrims with all means of comfort during this season. “Al-Hashemi received at his office ion Baghdad today the head of the higher authority for Hajj and Omra Sheikh Mohamed Taqi al-Mawla, during which he said that we are looking to provide pilgrims with all means of comfort, mainly the health services,” a statement released from his office said received by IraqiNews.com. Sheikh al-Mawlam presented a detailed explanation on the authority’s preparations to render this season a success. “Al-Hashemi expressed comfort with this explanation and wished him and all pilgrims great successes,” the statement added.   SH (P)/SR   1
