Drug dealer arrested red-handed in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Tuesday a drug dealer in Karbala, according to a media director of the Karbala police. “Security forces managed on Tuesday (Feb. 15) to arrest one of the most dangerous drug dealers in Karbala,” Major Alaa al-Ghanemi told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the detainee was bringing drugs from Baghdad and spread them in Karbala. “He was arrested red-handed, and interrogation continues with him,” he added. “A court in Karbala sentenced two drug dealers to seven years behind bars, while a third one received a three-year sentence,” he saod.
