Medical center opened in Karbala
KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The first stage of al-Zahraa medical center was opened on Wednesday in Karbala at a cost of 2.700 billion dinars, according to Karbala health department director. “A number of parliamentarians, Karbala governor and his deputy and a number of local officials opened today al-Zahraa medical center, one of the most advanced centers in Iraq,” Dr. Alaa Hamoudi Bedier told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The center was the Italian hospital, because Italy started to establish it but did not complete it because of the security conditions in 2007, forcing the local government to complete it at a cost of 2.700 billion dinars for its first stage,” he explained.
