Military academy in Karbala soon

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The first military academy shall be formed in the province, Karbala‘s Operations Command announced here today.  Staff General Othman al-Ghanimi added that the Iraqi security forces are capable of handling security operation in the mid Euphrates region after the U.S. forces withdrawal.  The “region only needs an air cover and continued training,” he added.  “The cost of the academy shall reach 7 billion Iraqi dinars. It will train security forces with regards to combat and administrative work”, he continued.  The venue of the academy shall be west of the city, near Razaza lake, 15 km west of Karbala.  RM (TS)/SR 445
