8 arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The director of police media said today that the security forces arrested 16 wanted persons, including some who were charged with terrorism.  Major Ala’ Abbas al-Ghanimi told IraqiNews.com that the intelligence information indicated the presence of the wanted people in the province.  “Eight of the arrested were charged with terrorism, while the others for criminal, theft and kidnapping cases,” he added.  Karbala lies 108 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
