3 civilians wounded in blast near Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) attached to their vehicle went off south of Kirkuk city on Sunday, a local police source said. “An IED attached to a vehicle went off near the village of Yankija, Touz Khormato district, (80 km) south of Kirkuk, leaving a man and two women wounded and the car destroyed,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not give further details on the incident. The oil-rich multi-ethnic city of Kirkuk lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. AmR (P) 205
